This Privacy Policy describes how Frontage Journal (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you use www.frontagejournal.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit the Get Listed form, we collect your name, business name, email address and, if provided, phone number.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and pages viewed. If we use analytics, it is limited to aggregate site-usage statistics.
Information about featured businesses. When a business is featured, its page may include the owner’s name and likeness, quotes from our interview, and the business’s public contact details. This information is published with the owner’s consent.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, evaluate and arrange listings, publish business pages and articles, operate and secure the Site, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate the Site (such as hosting, content management, email delivery and contact management), who may use it only on our behalf; and where required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Cookies
The Site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies set are strictly necessary for the Site to function or, if analytics is enabled, to measure aggregate usage.
5. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites, maps and social platforms. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and a featured business owner may request changes to or removal of their page, by contacting us at legal@frontagejournal.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
