1. The Site

Frontage Journal publishes editorial pages and articles about independently owned businesses. Listings are provided free of charge to featured businesses. We do not accept payment for coverage and are not affiliated with, or an agent of, any business featured on the Site.

2. Listing requests

By submitting the Get Listed form, you represent that the business is independently owned, that you are authorized to act on its behalf, and that the information you provide is accurate. Submitting a request does not guarantee a listing. We may accept, decline, edit or remove any listing at our sole discretion and without notice.

3. Consent to publication

If we feature your business, you consent to our photographing the business and its owner, interviewing the owner, and publishing the resulting photographs, name, likeness and statements on the Site and on our social media accounts. A featured owner may request corrections to, or removal of, their page at any time by contacting legal@frontagejournal.com, and we will act on the request within a reasonable time.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including photographs, articles, text, graphics, the Frontage Journal name and wordmark, and the Site’s design, is owned by Frontage Journal or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

We grant each featured business a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to reproduce, display and distribute the photographs and article about that business for any purpose, with or without attribution. This license does not transfer ownership, and we retain the right to use the same content on the Site and elsewhere.

Except for that license, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, distribute or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission. You may link to any page of the Site.

5. Accuracy of information

We strive to keep business details such as hours, addresses and contact information accurate, but they may change without notice. Confirm details with the business directly before relying on them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site in any way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation or security, that harvests data from it, or that infringes the rights of others.

7. Third-party links

The Site contains links to third-party websites, maps and social platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products or practices.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRONTAGE JOURNAL AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRIBUTORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR YOUR DEALINGS WITH ANY BUSINESS FEATURED ON IT.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

11. Changes and contact
